- TERM-01Bill of materials
- A structured representation of components and their relationships in a product.
- TERM-02Change order
- A controlled record for evaluating, approving, and implementing a proposed change.
- TERM-03Lifecycle state
- A defined status that indicates how a record may be used or changed.
- TERM-04Revision
- An identified, controlled iteration intended to distinguish approved product definition.
- TERM-05Version
- A successive instance of a file or object; a version is not automatically a released revision.
- TERM-06Release
- The act or state that makes an approved definition available for its intended use.
- TERM-07PDM
- Product data management: practices and systems for governing product information.
- TERM-08PLM
- Product lifecycle management: a broader approach that can include product data, processes, and lifecycle decisions.
